Who we are

Sango (sangomadming.com) is an online matrimonial service based in Nagpur, Maharashtra. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

Who can use Sango

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• A profile may only be for someone who has reached the legal age of marriage in India: 21 for men and 18 for women.
• A parent or family member may create and manage a profile for someone, with that person's knowledge and consent.
• One profile per person. Do not create a profile for anyone who has not agreed to it.

Your profile

• Everything in a profile must be true: name, age, marital status, education, work, family and clan.
• Photographs must be of the person the profile is for.
• You are responsible for what you write and share on Sango.
• We may ask for identity verification, and may hide or remove profiles we believe are false.

Not allowed

• Fake profiles, pretending to be someone else, or profiles for people who are already married.
• Asking another member for money, gifts or dowry, or making any financial request.
• Harassment, threats, or abusive or obscene messages or photographs.
• Copying other members' photographs or contact details, or using Sango for business, advertising or dating.
• Using automated tools to collect data from the website.

Clan (saga) information

Sango shows whether two clans can traditionally marry, based on what community elders and published sources tell us. It is guidance, not a ruling. Customs differ between families and regions, and where we are not sure we say "ask a community elder". Families make their own decisions, with their elders.

Paid plans

• Basic use of Sango is free. Paid plans unlock more features for a fixed period. Prices and features are shown before you pay.
• Plans are a one-time payment for the period shown. They do not renew automatically.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. Sango never sees or stores your card or UPI details.
• Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Refunds follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Safety

Sango checks profiles and acts on reports, but cannot guarantee that every member is who they claim to be. Before meeting anyone, involve your family, meet in a public place, and never send money. Report anything suspicious with the Report button on a profile, or through the grievance page.

Suspension and closing your account

We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms. If an account is removed for breaking these terms, any remaining paid period is not refunded. You can delete your account at any time from the Edit profile page; the Privacy page explains what happens to your data.

Limits of our responsibility

Sango introduces families to each other. We are not responsible for how members behave, for the accuracy of what members write, or for any decision to marry. As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 6 months before the claim.

Complaints and law

Complaints go to our Grievance Officer, who acknowledges them within 24 hours and resolves them within 15 days. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts in Nagpur, Maharashtra have jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest change, and we will tell members in the app about important changes.
